homecoming hair... guys opinions please (girls can answer too, but i want a guys POV)?

so my homecoming is coming up, and i dont know what to do with my hair.
its my senior year and i have a date, so i want to look good and make this night special.

my dress is long and silky... fuchsia color (thats like a darker pink) it comes down in a V-neck with beading.
my hair is brown... its a darker shade and it goes just past my shoulders.
my face is heart shaped, i have side bangs, and a side part.

should i curl it or leave it straight?

i would like to leave it mostly down.

what do guys prefer?

i say curl it, if you usually have it straight, and honestly, guys could care less about your hair
